Ahhh, anonymity!

Usually, when you blog, one of your goals is to get lots of readers, lots of followers, lots of comments. So I guess it’s strange that I don’t really want too many people to find this blog.

I already have a blog that’s attached to my photography business and all of my clients, friends, family and other professionals in the wedding industry check it pretty regularly. Not only that, but my blog is also attached to a Facebook business page, email account, Twittter and my business’s website.
Now don’t get me wrong, that is a wonderful thing and it has been very good for my business. I have worked very very hard to get that blog to where it is today. It takes a lot of time and dedication to get a few thousand visits each week and I’m so grateful for the people who follow that blog.

There is a certain side of myself that I tie to that blog. The business side of me is always there. Sometimes I post personal things, but rarely are they things that are *really* on my hear. I often feel like the things I want to talk about the most are off limits because I worry about it affecting my client’s perception of me. You know things like my views of God, marriage, money, children, my faith, etc.

At the same time, I love to blog. I love to share things about my life, what’s going on with my husband and I. It’s an online diary of sorts. I’m just craving a massive dose of anonymity. So if you don’t mind, I’d rather not connect my business to this blog at all. I’d love to keep the two separate and hopefully my clients won’t fine this one.  =)

It will be a journey and I’m exciting to share it.
